The following Terms and Conditions are for the exclusive use of the website www.makeitpersonal.co.uk. (Hereafter the “Website”)
These terms apply to you (hereafter “customer”) accessing the above mentioned site as well as making an order for products or services from the Website.
Scope of business
The Website is controlled and owned by Global Print Strategies Ltd (GPS) a registered company in England and Wales and holding company of MIP for the provision of transacting and facilitating orders through the Website. The following terms and conditions have been outlined to protect both the interests of you the customer and that of GPS trading as MIP in the use of this site.
Terms of use
By you accessing and interacting with all the product templates within this site regardless if you register any details with us indicates that you agree and accept these terms. If for any reason you do not agree or accept these terms, leave the site immediately.
Any reason deemed to be worthy of consideration against the terms and conditions of this site will be reviewed if supplied in writing to the Legal Department at the registered address of Make It Personal (MIP)

The Web site freely allows you to browse and select goods for consideration that you may wish to order and personalise. Goods and services are accessed by top and side navigations as well as price brackets and the MIP personalised shopper service. All areas of the pre-order web site can be accessed without login. Only once you have chosen your product to personalise do we ask you to login and register your details with us.
By registering with MIP, it allows you to upload your images and text safely within our secure area, where products and images can be accessed only by you for completion or re-order of your products now or in the future.
Once registered you only supply your details once, with only email and password recognition needed to access the secure area of our site each time you wish to order a product from MIP.
All data is protected and controlled through the registration of the Data Protection Act 1998 Membership Number No Z1746468.
Ordering from Make It Personal
Our contractual obligation with the customer only applies once we have processed an order and received cleared payment through our online electronic payment system.
Payment can be made by all major credit cards via the approved Sage Pay system.
Payment is only taken once you have built and signed off your product within the secure area of the MIP site.
Upon final Payment the Website generates an on screen confirmation of goods purchased as well as sending an email confirmation to the address registered within the login area.
Upon despatch of the order the purchase contract between MIP and the customer is then viable, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order due to the terms and conditions within this document.

At the discretion of the MIP management team they have the right to refuse an order for any of the following reasons
1) Where our payment provider cannot gain authorisation for your payment
2) If you do not meet the necessary criteria as laid down within these Terms and Conditions
3)  If the content of your order conflicts with the Visitor Material or Conduct Term within this agreement
4) If products are no longer available
5) If products are out of stock and cannot be supplied within the delivery criteria as detailed within the Terms and Conditions
6) Where there has been a product description error
7) Where the price published is incorrect at time of order
8) Not supplying valid delivery details
9)  If the order for personalised products contains unsuitable material that will call into disrepute the reputation of the MIP brand, its employees or contractors and that of any company or individual associated directly or indirectly with the organisation
Within the order process you are requested to advise us of the chosen delivery address.
We will deliver the products ordered by you to the address given when you make your order. If any delivery details are incorrect, we are not liable for any items not received.
An alternative delivery address can be given prior to making payment that may be different from that of the billing address of the proposed payment provider. The same conditions apply if the information supplied is incorrect.
In the majority we only deliver to the UK. 
For goods that require dispatch internationally the customer should email ask@makeitpersonal.co.uk or call 01708 255562 to discuss the delivery with the MIP Account Managers
Delivery will be made usually within 7 days of receipt of your order. Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. We only process and dispatch orders within these timescales. All delivery and dispatch timescales quoted on the Website do not include weekends.
For goods and services requiring special urgent delivery the customer should email ask@makeitpersonal.co.uk or call 01708 255562 to discuss this delivery option with the MIP Account Managers. We do not deliver to addresses outside the UK.
Where products have not arrived within 28 days from the date ordered, we do not accept any liability unless you have advised us via email at ask@makeitpersonal.co.uk of the matter within 30 days from the date on which you originally ordered the product.  
We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.
In the main the majority of our products are despatched via 1st Class Royal Mail. If you have not received your gift within the 28 day period, you must check with your local Royal Mail office even if you have not been given due notification that the goods are being held at the local depot
Where goods have been reprinted due to failed delivery, if subsequently the original order is returned to MIP office due to incorrect delivery information, then the customer will be liable for the recovery of all costs associated to the replacement of the order
We reserve the right to wait up to 14 working days from the date of despatch before replacing an undelivered item.
Fast Track Delivery.
On specified products a fast track, next day delivery service may be available Monday to Friday, except bank holidays.
1)  From Monday to Friday, orders must be placed by the specified cut off period to ensure delivery the next day.
2) Orders placed on a Friday before the specified last order time will be delivered on the following Monday.
3) Orders placed on a Saturday/Sunday will be delivered on the following Tuesday.
4) We cannot deliver on a bank holiday. In this instance your delivery will be made on the next working day.
5) Our preferred courier will deliver your gift between 9am and 5pm. We are unable to detail a more specific delivery time than this.
6) A signature may
be required on receipt.
7) If you are unavailable to accept delivery, the carrier may leave your gift with a neighbour, or in a safe place, if considered safe to do so. Notification will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done.
8) If the gift cannot be left in a safe place or with a neighbour the carrier 
will return it to the local depot, and leave notification and instructions on how to the pick up your gift.

Returns and Exchange
MIP endeavours to meet all the expectation of its customers
and offers aclear and concise description of the specification of the product within the pages of the website. However, if upon receipt of your gift you are not completely satisfied with the goods, simply return them to us at any time within 14 days of receipt with a brief explanation to support your dissatisfaction. If upheld and justified MIP will issue a full refund or exchange as soon as possible after you cancel your order. The costs of returning goods to us shall be the customer’s responsibility.
Any alterations to the original order will not be accepted as part of the reprint procedure
As a valued customer, if upheld, MIP will temper the customer dissatisfaction with a discount voucher against any future purchase.
Any product or gift returned will be your responsibility until received by MIP.
Where products have a high cost, we recommend that you return the parcel using a reputable delivery company that guarantees you for the value of the goods. MIP cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in the post.
Exceptions of Exchange and Return
The following apply where MIP will not be held responsible for the dissatisfaction of the final product.
1) Products that we have unintentionally produced incorrectly with the customers personalised content, either images text, spelling or customised specifically for you where you have signed off the proof prior to payment.
2) Where, in our opinion, you have not taken reasonable care of goods whilst in your possession and have not been returned with the original packaging.
3) The item(s) must be returned in the condition in which you received it within 30 days of delivery.
4)If you have made a grammatical, or spelling error to the content of your order, which you have signed off during the order process.
Once you have received your gift and if in the unlikely event it has an error or a quality issue directly associated to our manufacturing processes, or in any way the product is defective or not fit for purpose, we will refund the full value of the item and your costs in returning it to us.
When returning the gift(s) they must be sent in the condition in which you received it. Returns must take place within 30 days of the delivery date.
When returning any products, please ensure the following details are clearly marked on the front of your consignment.

Please also ensure you include a copy of the email confirmation order, or order number or name and address of the original dispatch location with any return.
MIP cannot guarantee any refund of monies if the requested information is not supplied.
Returns Policy
Personalised Goods
Whereby orders have been placed with MIP and personalised with the customer’s pictures or text and have been signed off and approved within the MIP software by the customer. Orders cannot be cancelled nor can refunds or exchanges be offered.  Your statutory rights under the sales of goods act are not affected by this clause.
Static non Personalised Orders Only
For goods that have not been personalised in any way, with no exceptions order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order number within seven working days, beginning the day after the day on which the item is delivered.

You can contact us prior to dispatch of your order or alternatively if goods have been dispatched to you, the goods must be returned to us in accordance with the 'Returns and Exchange' policy as stipulated within the MIP terms and agreements document.
By the very individual nature of the process to personalise products, they cannot be re-sold, and therefore we cannot accept returns if you have a change of mind in now wanting this product
Due to the nature of our software some products are sent directly to a manufacturer upon the completion of your order. Within the order process you have the opportunity to check the content and spelling of your chosen product several times.
Please check your order on screen and the confirmation email carefully as we cannot refund products which have been miss-spelt nor have the wrong images uploaded.
We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and issue a full refund.
The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights
All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates.
All additional packing and postal costs are also inclusive of VAT (where applicable)
Where VAT is subject to a rate change by the treasury, the rate will be changed and be live as from 00.00hrs on the day of change. Any orders after this time will be charged at the newly published advised rate.
All prices are inclusive of standard packaging, fit for purpose so that goods arrive in a suitable and usable condition.
Any changes to packaging can be advised and charged separately via the Personal Shopper option.
We reserve the right to change any price within the product selection. All prices stated within the order process shall be accepted as full and final for the purpose of ordering each product.
Prices are reviewed at the end of each quarter within each fiscal year. (June,September,December, March)
Discounts and Promotions
At certain times promotions will be run by MIP to offer discounts for the ordering of goods and services.
Discounts only apply to live promotions and will not be accepted at any other time.
Discounts can only be achieved by inserting the live code into the “Voucher Code” box at the foot of the shopping basket. Once the correct code has been inserted the price within the basket will change to represent the discount applicable to that particular code.
MIP cannot be responsible for discounts where a wrong code has been submitted.
It is an offence to publish within the open domain MIP discount codes via the internet, SMS, email, or any other viral or social network service.
Discount codes will always have an expiry date, any codes submitted after this date cannot be accepted.
If in the event of returning a product that is justified a full refund where a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.
Incorrect Product Delivery
If by mistake you receive the wrong product or somebody else’s product, please contact our customer support  team on 01708 255562, or email ask@makeitpersonal.co.uk,  quoting your order number, your name and address, together with details of the product and the reason for return,
Colour representation
Colour reproduction of your supplied images is undertaken using the most up to date colour reproduction technologies
Due to the varied RGB settings of each computer screen, the representation achieved from your uploaded or supplied images may vary from the colour representation you see on your own device.
MIP cannot take any responsibility for colour variation through our manufacturing processes.
If colour representation is absolutely critical then please contact our customer services team to discuss further.
Visitor conduct and content upload
Images or text uploaded by you to the Website will be considered confidential and will not be shared with any 3rd party. All images and text are safely held within a secure location and are only held within the content of the designs and templates we supply. Any images stored cannot be accessed by the general public due to the incription and access protocols of the website.
It is deemed that by uploading any images, text or slogans that you have the necessary permission for the publication of any such material. MIP will not be held responsible for any infringement or copywrite associated to or by the uploading of any such material.
If using the Personal Shopper service, a Non Disclosure Agreement can be supplied enabling full confidentiality of any material supplied, with no use of any material by MIP or any of its third party contractors.
You are prohibited from uploading or supplying to or from this Website any material:
1) That is defamatory, obscene, threatening, indecent, offensive, seditious, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, menacing, discriminatory, scandalous, blasphemous, inflammatory,  in breach of privacy, in breach of confidence or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience.
2) That contains unsuitable material that will call into disrepute the reputation of MIP or GPS, its employees or third party contractors and that of any company or affiliated organisation or individuals associated directly or indirectly with the organisation.
3) That encourages or constitutes conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in the UK or any other country in the world
4) For which you have not obtained all necessary approvals and or licences.
5) Which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data).
You may not represent or misuse the Website (including, without limitation, by hacking).
The directorship of MIP will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or locate anyone posting any material in breach of the clauses above.

Secure login and registration
To register with this Website, you must be over 18 years of age or if under this age have the approval of a
parent or guardian to do so.
Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network.
Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you and if you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately.
We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions.
Payment for products can only be taken through the approved MIP payment provider.
MIP cannot take any responsibility for the payment provider in declining any transaction request.
If someone is ordering a product under the age of 18, MIP takes no responsibility for the use of payment processes where the individual/s have not obtained the permission of the card holder, parent or guardian in advance.
Any amount that is over an undeclared limit will be separately handled and authorised by an MIP account manager.
Once full payment has been received by MIP, it is deemed that you require the goods and services as offered on the MIP web site.
You may retrieve and display the content of the Website on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disk (but not any server or other storage device connected to a network) or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Website without written permission from the directors of MIP.
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights of all material on this Website (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by MIP. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, any use of extracts from this Website other than in accordance with the clause above for any purpose is prohibited. If you breach any of the terms in these terms and conditions, your permission to use this Website automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from this Website.
No part of this Website may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without our prior written permission from MIP.
Any rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.
Service access
While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.
Every endeavour has been made to ensure that the information published on the Website is correct.
We hold the right to make changes at any time to the products, prices and material on the Website. The information within the content of the Website which may have passed any stale date, for which we have no commitment or obligation to update such material.

It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. We have the right at any time to change or revise the terms and conditions by uploading a new document to our Website. It is your responsibility or that of any third party to review this Website when ever placing an order as they are binding on you as the customer at the time of order.
If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this Website.
